My name is Antonio, I am a watchmaker and I live in the USA and I am the founder, with my wife Maria, of Milano Straps, a family business that creates high quality straps that are not found everywhere. We are here to offer a unique experience for watch enthusiasts around the world.
I have been a passionate watchmaker since 1972. My passion for watches grew, so I started my first watchmaking business in 1984 by opening a vintage shop in Milan.
I had no choice but to devote myself to a family tradition, always guided by a love of watches, of course.
Here is the brief history of how Milano Straps was born
I grew up surrounded by watches. My dad was a watchmaker and since I was a kid, I'd wandered around the watch shop and organized watch straps by size and color. It all started since then when I discovered that watch bands come in a very limited variety of colors and styles. I was blocked by the rules. This made my job, even as a child, a bit boring. But it also triggered my creativity and made me want to create something that was different.
Thanks to our background of recognition of excellence in style and craftsmanship, we have developed a concept store.
Our mission is to #breaktherules and to bring watch straps to the center point of the wristwatch.
